Courtney Chappelle

CSH-Measey Education Coordinator
She/Her

Courtney (Court) is a Philly native and graduated from Penn State with a B.A. in Psychology and minor in Sociology. During undergrad she worked as the assistant to the campus nurse and co-led a peer counseling program which raised money for charity & spearheaded an anti-texting and driving initiative. It was during this time that her desire to help others was nurtured and solidified. Post undergrad, she earned her M.S. in Administration of Human Services at Chestnut Hill College and went on to work as an undergrad pre-health academic advisor and then coordinator for 3rd & 4th year medical students.

While working as an advisor/coordinator, Court earned her Ed.D. in Higher Education from Temple University. Her dissertation explored the lived experiences of African American women in senior leadership positions at Pennsylvania colleges and universities and prompted her to consider how she could marry her love of helping others and working in health professions education with DEI work. She’s excited to have found the CSH team and even more excited to contribute to training a diverse socially minded workforce as it relates to surgical access and equity. Court loves to read, spend time with friends & family, and centers her plans around food a little too much. She’ll also randomly sing anything so don’t mind her!
