Tara Conlon

Tara grew up in New York and graduated from Boston University with a degree in Spanish and Secondary Education. After graduation, Tara moved back to New York and spent nearly ten years providing HIV prevention services in under-resourced communities. Tara worked for a local non-profit organization before moving on to an academic medical center where she built a program that ensures access to biomedical HIV prevention interventions. During this time, Tara also matriculated in the Master of Public Health program at Stony Brook University, studying Health Analytics and serving as a Teaching Assistant for Graduate Epidemiology. Tara received the Director’s Award for Service to Public Health for her work as a founding member of the Program in Public Health’s Anti-Racism Committee. Tara is Certified in Public Health through the National Board of Public Health Examiners and is a Master Certified Health Education Specialist through the National Commission for Health Education Credentialing. Tara moved to Philadelphia in 2022 to join the CSH team.
