Joshua Pesantes

Lead PPN - Urology

Joshua is a second-year medical student from Westchester, NY. He graduated from NYU in 2021 with a degree in Psychology. Before medical school, he conducted health disparities research in Neurology and worked as an Urgent Care Medical Scribe. At Penn, he helps lead Penn Med Pride, the Global Health Interest Group, and is involved with research exploring themes of surgery, health equity, and LGBTQ+ health/education. In his free time, Joshua enjoys learning French, exploring new restaurants, climbing, and crushing escape games.
